Children and young people requiring secure transport often have complex requirements. Our friendly team build a therapeutic rapport to gain trust and have skills to recognise, prevent and manage crisis behaviours.
We can provide one or multiple team members to ensure our passengers journey is stress free and they feel safe, respected and valued.
As a minimum, our team are trained in safeguarding, first aid, crisis prevention, crisis intervention, safety intervention and de-escalation and restraint*. All team members hold an enhanced DBS with registration to the update service.
*restraint is only used a last resort as a duty of care to protect our passenger or staff from harm using the lowest level required for the associated risk.
We believe that transport should never feel impersonal, our vehicles are comfortable for travel and non-caged. We combine our standards with compassion to create a service that people can trust.
All vehicles are equipped with locking systems and security protocols offering protection without compromising dignity and wellbeing.
We work with our client to ensure a risk assessment has been carried out prior to a journey commencing.
Understanding some of our passengers may feel anxious, vulnerable, or uncertain whilst travelling, we take pride in offering reassurance and respect, from the moment we arrive to collect them to the moment we drop them off.
All of our passengers are provided with refreshments, snacks and in-vehicle entertainment (unless requested not to).
